Refund and cancellation policy

You pay for work as it is done, and you keep what you paid for. If you stop a project, you owe only for the work completed up to that day. If we cannot deliver something you paid for, you get that money back.

If something is wrong, tell us first. We fix problems, and almost every issue is settled in a day or two by email.

The deposit on a signed proposal reserves our schedule and pays for the first stage of work, which starts as soon as it clears.

Full refund: if you cancel in writing within 3 business days of paying the deposit and before work has started, we refund it in full.

After work starts: the deposit is not refundable, because it has been spent on planning, design and engineering time for your project. Everything produced with it is yours.

You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@bxzex.com. We stop work that day and send a final statement of the work completed, priced from the line items in your signed proposal.

If you have paid more than the completed work comes to, we refund the difference. If you have paid less, the balance is invoiced. You receive the work completed up to that point once it is paid for.

Payments for a stage that has been delivered or approved are not refundable. Approval means you told us it is approved, you put it into use, or 7 days passed after delivery without a written list of what is wrong.

If bxzex cancels a project, or cannot deliver a stage you have paid for, we refund what you paid for the undelivered work. Dates in a proposal assume content and feedback reach us within three business days of a request; a delay on that side moves the dates and is not grounds for a refund.

Every build includes 30 days of fixes after launch at no charge for anything that does not work as the signed proposal describes. A defect is fixed, not refunded. Changes to what was agreed are new work and are quoted before any of it is done.

Care, hosting and other monthly work is billed at the start of each month and can be cancelled at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge. The month already paid for runs to its end and is not refunded in part.

Domain names, hosting, software licences, app store fees, stock assets and any other cost we pay to a third party for your project cannot be refunded once bought. They are yours and stay in your name.

Email hello@bxzex.com with your invoice number and what happened. We answer within 2 business days. An approved refund goes back through Stripe to the card or bank account that paid, usually within 5 to 10 business days. We do not refund to a different account or in cash.

If you see a charge you do not recognise or disagree with, write to us before contacting your bank. A refund from us is faster than a dispute and we can usually settle it the same day.

By paying an invoice you confirm the charge is authorised and that this policy applies. If a payment is disputed for work that was delivered as agreed, we send the card network the signed proposal, the record of its electronic signature, the delivery history and this policy. Until a dispute is resolved we pause the work, and the rights to unpaid work stay with bxzex.

If a signed proposal sets different refund or cancellation terms, the proposal applies to that project. This policy does not take away any right the law gives you that cannot be waived by agreement.
